WELLINGTON’S “DRY” SPELL

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 20. The 15 days from November 5 to November 19 are described technically in meteorological cricles as a “dry” spell. In that period in Wellington only .002 inches of rain has been recorded. Not since a similar spell in September and October 1942 has so little rain fallen in Wellington over a comparable period.
