Nominations Close On Thursday
Nominations for the president, two vice-presidents and nine members of the general committee of the Automobile Association (Southland) must be received' by the secretary of the association not later than 5 p.m. next Thursday. The retiring president, Mr S. C. K. Smith, and the retiring vicepresidents, Messrs D. A. Dunn and I. V. Wilson, are eligible for re-election, as are also the following eight members who are retiring from tile general committee by rotation:— Messrs W. H. Boyes, A. Derbie, H. C. Gimblett, F. G. O’Beirne, P. A. ■ Pearce, D. J. Wesney, R. H. Woodfield, and Dr D. R. Jennings. The ninth vacancy on the committee was caused by the death of Dr Stanley Brown.
