OPEN FIGHTING IN ARGENTINA
(Rec. 10 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 4, The students’ strike flared into open fighting this afternoon, when police armed with clubs and tear gas bombs broke into the University buildings at La Plata in an effort to eject the students who have been barricaded in since Tuesday. The students stated that they would hold out no matter what the cost.
