The following Southern Sub-union team has been selected to play the Southland junior representative team at Gorge Road next Saturday:— - Full-back.—A. McKenzie (Seaward Downs. Three-quarters. — McDonald (rokanui), Swain (Seaward Downs), McEwan (Tokanui). Five-eighths.—D. McNaughton (Oteramika), Smith (Seaward Downs). Half-back,—F. Hamil (Seaward Downs). Front Row. — Smith (Seaward Downs), L. Chisholm (Tokanui), J. Valli (Waimshaka). Middle Row.—A. Lawson (Oteramika), T. Swale (Gorge Road); F. Pope (Tokanui), J. Blackmore (Seaward Downs). Back Row.—J. Perriam (Oteramika).
Emergencies. — Forwards: Welsh (Seaward Downs) and Blair (Tokanui). Backs: N. McKenna (Oteramika) and A. Black (Waimahaka). A curtain-raiser will be played at one o’clock between Oteramika and Gorge Road.
