RIMU BRANCH OF LABOUR PARTY
A well-attended meeting of the Rimu branch of the Labour Party was held in the Rimu Public Hall recently Five new members were proposed and accepted. The rural delivery of telegrams was discussed and the secretary was instructed to write to the PostmasterGeneral for further information on the matter. The secretary, Mr T. E. Guthrie, addressed the meeting on the origin and present tendencies of democracies.
