CLERK OF COURT AT INVERCARGILL
Mr A. L. Tressider To Take Post WELLINGTON, May 23. The appointment to Wellington as registrar of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal of Mr A. Reynolds, registrar of the Supreme Court in Dunedin, was announced today. The vacancy occurred through' the retirement of Mr G. S. Clark. Mr Reynolds was formerly clerk of the Magistrate’s Court in Wellington and registrar of the Supreme Court and clerk of the Magistrate’s Court in Hamilton. Other promotions announced are:— Mr C. O. Pratt, registrai- and clerk of the court at Palmerston North, to be registrar in Dunedin. Mr W. S. Jones, clerk of the court in Christchurch, to be registrar and clerk of the court at Palmerston North. Mr W. J. Blackler, clerk of the court in Dunedin, to be clerk of the court in Christchurch. Mr A. Whitaker, registrar and clerk of the court at Masterton, to be clerk of the court in Dunedin. Mr G. E. Pollock, deputy registrar in Wellington (at present serving in Army Headquarters) to be registrar and clerk of the court at Masterton. Mr A. L. Tresidder, clerk of the court in Wellington, to be registrar and clerk of the court at Invercargill. (This vacancy was caused by the appointment of Mr A. E. Dobbie as a magistrate). Mr F. B. L. Jameson, registrar and clerk of the court at Nelson, to be clerk of the court in Wellington. Mr P. M. Martin, registrar and clerk of the court at Blenheim, to be registrar and clerk of the court at Nelson. Mr J. T. A. Beaumont, deputy registrar and assistant clerk of the court at Palmerston North, to be registrar and clerk of the court at Blenheim.
