DAD AND DAVE
Sir, —I read with interest the letter written by “Sick and Fed Up,” and I wish to state that I for one do not agree with him. I admit it is a trifle drawn out at times, but I know there are many children (and adults) who would be very disappointed if it did not come over each week at the usual hour. There are few serials on the radio that are suitable for children from the age of five to ten years. Any that are passable are usually on too late for them. I think if the people of Southland were asked to vote for or against “Dad and Dave” there is not much doubt about the result. If “Sick and Fed Up” does not like it, cannot he switch to another station for the quarter hour it is on? Invercargill is not the only station on the air at 6 p.m. A REGULAR LISTENER.
