AWARD FOR MR CHURCHILL SUGGESTED
(Rec. 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 10. A suggestion that in recognition of Mr Churchill’s inspiration to the Empire, consideration should be gitfen by the Australian and New. Zealand Governments to the presentation of a special decoration to be known as “The Southern Cross Star” has been made by Mr H. C. Jones, president of the New Zealand Association (New South Wales). It would be a great occasion for the Commonwealth and the Dominion, added Mr Jones, if Mr Churchill could visit the Pacific to receive such an award. e
