PRISONERS OF WAR SAFE
Flight Lieutenant R. G. Stark, who has been a prisoner of war in Germany, has now been repatriated to England, according to advice received in Invercargill yesterday. Flight Lieutenant Stark was a partnex - in the firm of Webb and Stark. Advice has been received that Driver Noel Haslemore is safe and well in England. Driver Haslemore has been a prisoner since the Crete campaign. Mrs M. A. Thomson, of Invercargill, has received advice that her son, Driver D. G. Thomson, is safe in the United Kingdom. He left New Zealand with the 2nd Echelon and was taken prisoner in Crete.
