STATE AND PARTY OFFICES APART
(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, April 7. The German News Agency has announced that Hitler has issued a decree separating State and Party offices because the war had shown the impossibility of one man carrying out State and Party duties simultaneously in critical tunes. The separation of the two tasks, of course, did not affect the close and harmonious co-operation between Party and State, the agency stated.
