OTAKI-MAORI MEETING

TODAY’S PROSPECTS (Special) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. The Otaki Maori Racing Club will hold its summer meeting at Otaki tomorrow, when a card of eight races will be presented, the Kuku Maiden having been divided into two separate events. Acceptors for the Waitohu Hack Handicap exceed the safety number by 11 and there is a likelihood of this race being run in two divisions, otherwise the programme is of smaller size than usual, the proximity of the Christmas meeting having some ence in restricting the size of the fields.

There has been a good deal of rain lately and the track is certain to be in easy condition. Betting will be win and place ana the following horses will be well supportea.
