Becoming Fair (Special) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. Following is the special forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office this evening for the period ending 5 p.m. tomorrow: — A depression is south-east and north-east of the Dominion. An an-ti-cyclone is centred in the western Tasman Sea. Moderate southerly to south-westerly winds. The weather cloudy, with a few isolated showers at first, but becoming fair. Temperatures cool. The weather in Invercargill yesterday remained cold and overcast, with passing showers of rain. A moderate southerly wind prevailed. The weather at 1 o’clock this morning was cool, calm and cloudy. The barometer reading was 29.70 in., (rising).
