MR HOLLAND TO GO ABROAD
Visits To Britain, Canada, U.S. And Australia (P.A.) WELLINGTON, December 15. A visit to Britain, the United States, Canada and Australia next year has been arranged by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Holland. While he is absent on his longer trip Mr W. J. Polson will be acting Leader, the caucus of the Parliamentary National Party having reached that decision today. On his visit to Britain Mr Holland will be accompanied by Mr F. W. Doidge. The selection of a member to accompany the leader was also made by the caucus. Mr Holland’s visit to Australia will take place next month. He proposes to visit Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. He last visited Australia 12 months ago. Arrangements are being made for Mr Holland and Mr Doidge to fly to England early in March and for their return via the United States and Canada.
