FERGUSON.—At Christchurch on Friday, December 15, 1944, 9157 Private David Laurie Ferguson, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, dearly beloved eldest son of Mrs A. R. Ferguson and the late A. R. Ferguson, 28 Joseph Street, Gore; aged- 42 years. The Funeral will leave the residence, 28 Joseph Street, Gore, on Tuesday, December 19, at 2 p.m. for the Gore Cemetery.—McKinlay & Murray, Funeral Directors.

STRANG.—Believed killed on air operations over Germany. June 26, 1944, Flying Officer Clement Russell, dearly loved son of Margaret W. Pearce, Winton, and the late C. R. Strang, Invercargill; aged 22 years.
