BRITISH AIR LINES TO CIRCLE WORLD
Transport Council To Be Appointed (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, Dec. 12. A permanent agency for the coordination of British Commonwealth flying services, entitled the Commonwealth Air Transport Council, was agreed to at the weekend by the Empire Air Conference. The council, which vzill probably consist of senior officials responsible for aviation administration in each British Empire country, will meet in the near future to review a plan by which the various Empire countries will form an all-red route round the world. Each country will run its own services, but will co-operate to link the air routes under British Commonwealth management and operation. In effect there will be a world-girdling system of Empire air lines fitting into a pattern which can be revised and expanded from time to time.
