Officials Appointed By Society
The following officials have been appointed by the Balfour and Longridge Caledonian Society for the sports to be held on Boxing Day:— Superintendent of sports, Mr E. W. Stevens; superintendent of piping and dancing, Mr P. W. McDonald: dancing stewards, Messrs J. McLean, A. McLean and D. McGregor. Judges.—Running and cycling, Messrs E. Black, J. T. Ginivan, W. Orr, G. Gillespie, J. Liddell and J. McLeod; jumping and field events, Messrs R. Gillespie, P. Nossitter, N. Nicholl and F. Munro; piping, Mr M. MacConachie; dancing, Mrs A. Lawson; children’s events, Messrs T. E. Butler, H. Ritchie, K. Greer, A. Liddell, C. T. Herron and C. Pearce.
Official piper, Mr G. McLeod; starter, Mr D. Casey; starters’ stewards, Messrs C. Herron and L. Orr; handicappers, Messrs D. Casey and R. Herron; protest committee, Messrs D. Alexander, P. W.
