HEAVIER POSTINGS
Beginning Of Christmas Rush Since the beginning of this week there has been a marked increase in the volume of mail matter posted at the Chief Post Office, indicating that the Christmas rush has already begun. It is expected that the postings will increase each day from now untff Christmas. The inward mails are still normal in size, but an increase is expected shortlv, gradually working up to the peak of the Christmas rush next week. The mailroom staff and staff of postmen will be gradually increased from tomorrow to deal with the extra business.
