NEW TELEPHONE BOXES
City Council’s Application A request that public telephone boxes should be erected in Annan street, at the comer of Wilton and Chelmsford streets and on the Bluff road near Scandre.t street has been made to the chief postmaster, Invercargill, by the City Council. At the meeting of the council -last night the Mayor, Mr A. Wachner, said that applications for new telephone boxes should be made direct to the chief postmaster.
