NEW LIQUID FUEL DISCOVERED
Use Of Methane Gas (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) .LONDON, Dec. 4. Experiments in a new liquid fuel that may have an important bearing on the future design of motor-car and aircraft engines have reached an advanced stage says The Daily Telegraph. Methane, which is a natural gas, is being produced in a liquid form. Coal seams are the richest source of supply because methane is actually firedamp which causes explosions. Substantial quantities are contained in sewage gas. Liquid methane is little more than the weight of petrol and has a much greater power output.
