AIRMAN LOSES LIFE
R.N.Z.A.F. TRUCK CAPSIZES
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 6. When a Royal New Zealand Air Force motor truck capsized on the road five miles south of Cheviot about 8.30 p.m. on Sunday, L.A.C. Alan Francis Joseph O’Shea, aged 30, stationed at Woodbourne, was killed. The only other occupant of the vehicle, another airman, escaped with injuries. fireman dies’ of effects OF CARBON MONOXIDE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 6. The fireman, J. Winton, one of the five men affected by carbon monoxide while attending a fire on Wednesday night, died in hospital today.
