NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Messrs Guthrie Sawmilling Co., Ltd., has applied to the Wallace County Council for a Tramway Licence for a Tramway approximately twenty chains on West side of Kaka Road adjacent to Sec. 8 Blk. V Alton S.D., as shown on sketch plan deposited at the County Office, Otautau and Cameron & Finn’s Store, Tuatapere. And it is hereby further notified that such application and any objections thereto will be considered by the above Council at a meeting to be held by the above Council at Otautau on Wednesday, November 22, 1944. Any objections thereto must be lodged at the County Office, Otautau, at least three clear days before the said meeting. The plan of the proposed tramway is open for inspection at the Office of the Wallace County Council, Otautau, and Cameron & Finn’s Store, Tuatapere, where it may be inspected without fee by any persons interested therein during office hours until Friday, November 17, 1944.
