WAIKIWI TOURNAMENT The Waikiwi Bowling Club conducted a successful rinks tournament yesterday, 14 rinks taking part. A Waihopai rink, skipped by R. G. Morrison, won the tournament, the runner-up being G. M. Frobarth’s Te Rangi rink. GORE TOURNAMENT ABANDONED Because of the threatening weather yesterday morning a pairs tournament to have been conducted on the Gore Bowling Club’s green was abandoned. In the afternoon friendly games were played.
