Decisions At Dumbarton Oaks Conference
(8.0.W..) RUGBY, September 29. The chairman of the British, American and Russian delegations at the Dumbarton Oaks conference has issued the following statement on the end of the conference:
“The conversations between the United States, the United Kingdom and the Soviet delegations regarding the establishment of a world security or-
ganization have now been completed. These conversations have been useful and have led to a large measure of agreement on the recommendation for the general framework of the organization and, in particular, for the machinery required- to maintain peace and security.
“The three delegations will make reports to their respective Governments who will consider these reports and, in due course issue a simultaneous statement.”
