FREEDOM IN RUSSIA

Sir,—“New Order” says we both agree along similar lines, I say the manipulation of the debt system alone would not solve the problem. Hitler did not hesitate to manipulate the debt system, or when necessary to alter his financial system, but with all his preaching to the German people, that they were being denied freedom, they did not find it under his banner. With the existence of the financiers and industrialists in Germany they were quick to realize the profits of plunder which can be won at war. The German people find themselves still further away from freedom. They realize there is a war on and that it is of paramount importance to have unity of the people, to smash Fascism, under which there is no freedom. Socialism is the final solution, but Socialism cannot be imposed on the people by a minority. It will only come into existence when the majority want it and are organized to obtain it. Under Socialism man’s exploitation of man has no place. All work for the good of all and the function of the machine is to ease man’s burden, not to make a profit for the owners of the machine. A man freed from toil can follow cultural activities, and the fear of want is. banished.
