(Rec. 7 p.m.) CANBERRA,’Sept. 29. The Commonwealth Gazette notifies an alteration in the title of Assistant Trade Commissioner in New Zealand to Commercial Secretary. The post will be occupied by Mr W. R. Carney,’ who before the war was Australia’s Assistant Trade Commissioner in India.
