After being thoroughly sterilised, Woollen and Cotton Rags are processed into flock to replace kapok in mattresses. THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. 1. Save all the woollen and cotton rags you can—makers’ woollen and cotton offcuts, worn-out clothing, hous hold linen, and your own dressmaking scraps. 2 Remove anv metal hooks, clasps, or domes, as these are liable to damage the processing machinery. Clip off buttons and save for further use. 3 Save vour rags till you have a sugar-bag full.
