Cloudy and Cooler
(Special) WELLINGTON, April 25. Following is the special forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological office this evening for the period ending 5 p.m. tomorrow:— Variable winds with fresh to strong south-westerlies to westerlies soon prevailing. The weather cloudy and cooler with occasional showers.
The weather on Monday in Invercargill was mild and overcast. After mild, overcast weather yesterday morning, the sky cleared and bright sunshine and warm temperatures were enjoyed in the afternoon. A light north-westerly wind was blowing. The Tides.— High water, Invercargill, 5,24 a.m.; 5.53 p.m.; Bluff, 4.43 a.m.; 5.12 p.m.; Riverton, 3.43 a.m.; 4.12 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 3.52 a.m.; 4.21 p.m. The Sun. —Rises, 7.37 a.m.; sets, 5.52 p.m.
