YOUNG MAN’S FATAL FALL
(P.A.) GREYMOUTH, April 10. Falling 80 feet into Soldier’s Creek, near Blackball, this evening Thomas Douglas Reynolds, aged 22, single, of Blackball, was later found dead in 10 feet pf water. He had with his brother Joseph gone out with a rifle after' deer. The fall occurred when crossing a tree trunk used as a bridge over the creek. His head struck the cliff in falling. CYCLIST DIES SUDDENLY (P.A.) GREYMOUTH, April 10. James Charles Arthur Wilson, aged 62, bush foreman, of Cobden, fell from his bicycle in Marlborough street and was dead when a doctor arrrived a few minutes later. BODY NOT RECOVERED (P.A.) GREYMOUTH; April 10. The body of Loftus McVicar, a deerstalker, who was drowned in the Grey river yesterday, has not yet been recovered.
