Crown Prince Of Italy LONDON, April 7. The Italian Crown Prince, Umberto, confirming a report that King Victor proposed to hand over his powers to his son as his lieutenant, said he was prepared to deputize for his father as King, thereby clearing the way for a coalition Government of all major parties. The Associated Press Naples corres. pondent quotes Prince Umberto as saying, “The King is old and ready to retire. He has had a full life.”
