AMERICAN DECORATIONS
Present System To Continue (Rec. 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 8. ’ The United States Army intends to continue its present system of awarding service decorations, in spite of the criticism in and out of Congress that indiscriminate issue has lessened their value, says The New York Herald Tribune’s Washington correspondent. War Department officials maintained that decorations are given only when they are deserved. Reports from all theatres have proved their' value as a morale building factor.
