PERMANENT AIR FORCE COMMISSIONS
Officers Invited To Apply (Rec. 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, April 9. The Royal Air Force is asking officers who wish to remain in the service after the war to apply for permanent commissions, says The Sunday Chronicle. The scheme applies to the general duties, technical, equipment, accounting, medical and chaplain branches. Officers applying may hear nothing until the end of the war, when those with the longest service and best war records are likely to receive preferential treatment.
