DEATH FROM SCALDS
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 12. A two-year-old child died in the Patea Hospital today as a result of scalds received to the throat. He was Ernest George Mills, son of Mr and Mrs George Mills, of Patea. The child put his mouth near the spout of a kettle of water boiling on the stove and inhaled a quantity of steam and swallowed boiling water.
