PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE.— The treasurer of the Bluff Patriotic Committee advises that he has received a donation of £2O from the Bluff Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society towards the prisoners of war fund. Another donation of £2O has been received from a Bluff resident, who wishes to remain anonymous. With these donations, approximately £l4O is still required to reach the quota of £9OO by the end of September. NATIONAL SAVlNGS.— Bluff's weekly quota towards national savings (£106) was considerably exceeded last week when the sum of £2500 was invested. This is the seventy-sixth time and the sixty-sixth successive time'the quota has been reached.
