Inquest Into Death Of Girl A verdict that Beth Patricia Foster, six-year-old daughter of Kenrick Foster, of Thornbury, died at Thornbury on Tuesday from severe shock and concussion and a fracture of the skull in an accident with a railway train driven by William Mathieson, was returned at the inquest yesterday. The little girl was killed at the Thornbury railway crossing on Monday. The Coroner, Mr R. C. Abernethy, said he thought the Railways Department would be well advised to have the best warning signs erected at the crossing. The inquest was held at Riverton. Constable G. H. Webb conducted the examination of witnesses, Mr A. P. F. Petrie represented the Railways Department and Mr John Tait the relations of the girl. ■
