ATTENDANCES AT TEPID BATHS

During the first 12 days of September the takings at the tepid baths showed an Increase of £4 on the takings for the corresponding period last year. The recent cold weather has, however, reduced the attendances. The Air Training Corps has been granted the use of the tepid baths free of charge from 9 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. A. similar privilege has been extended to men at the 20th Independent Company’s camp, and N.C.O.'s at the recruit training depot have been given the right to use the private baths from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m. daily except Saturday at a nominal charge of 6d a bath. The women’s recreational class has been granted the exclusive use of the baths from 6 to 6.45 p.m. on Fridays.
