TUATAPERE PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.— The annual meeting of the Tuatapere Patriotic Society was held in the Plunket rooms. Mr C. Bruce presided. Mr E. Bone (Orepuki) addressed the meeting on patriotic activities and outlined the uses patriotic funds were put to. The report showed that the Tuatapere district had responded very well to all' appeals. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows:— President, Mr C. Bruce; vice-president, Mr J. Mclntyre; secretary, Mr S. Crawford; treasurer, Mr W. R. Langmuir; chairman of zoning committee, Mr J. King.
