Egyptian Campaign (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 27. Attacks against' enemy shipping will perhaps be a decisive aspect .of this phase of the Egyptian campaign, says The Daily Telegraph’s Cairo correspondent. Since June 1 we. have sunk 40 cargo vessels, representing 60,000 tons, and damaged a further 80,000 tons. We have also sunk six escort vessels and damaged at least 12. The Cairo communique records patrol activity and artilfery exchanges on the northern sector. On Friday two enemy bombers were destroyed over the Oasis of Kufra and the same day our fighters, operating from Malta, shot down an Italian plane near Kuriat Island. Our bombers on Saturday night attacked targets in Tobruk, Solium, Maaten and Bagushand. Longrange fighters successfully attacked transport between Bardia and Tobruk.
