Changeable with Rain (Special) WELLINGTON, Sept. 28. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Fresh north-westerly to westerly winds. The weather changeable with a period of fairly general rain, but soon improving inland; temperatures moderate. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was mainly dull, but there was a welcome rise in the temperature, which was more in accordance with what is to be expected at this time of the year.
