Unsettled with Kain (Special) WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly winds. Weather unsettled with rain at times. Cool temperatures. Further outlook: Cool and showery. The weather in Invercargill on Saturday was cold and unpleasant, but it improved noticeably on Sunday, although steady rain fell during the afternoon. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was mild, calm and heavily overcast. The barometer reading was 30.30 in (rising). The Tides.— High water, Invercargill, 5.08 a.m.; 5.30 p.m. Bluff. 4.27 a.m.; 4.49 p.m. Riverton, 3.27 a.m.; 3.49 p.m..Oreti Beach, 3.36 a.m.; 3.58 p.m. The Sun. —Rises, 6.35 a.m.; sets, 6.52 p.m.
