AMERICAN BOMBERS RAID BURMA
(Rec. 10.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 2.
An Army communique reports three successful raids by American heavy bombers on enemy installations in Burma. Daylight raids were carried out on an aerodrome at Myitkyina, heavy damage being caused to runways and grounded planes. In an attack on the docks and shipping at Rangoon one enemy tanker was sunk and other vessels damaged. All the planes returned undamaged. _____
