Change Coming (Special) WELLINGTON, May 31. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate northerly winds predominating. The weather fair to fine with cool to moderate temperatures; a change to south-westerly winds with occasional showers later. The weather in Invercargill during the week-end was fine and sunny. There were heavy frosts on Satitrday and Sunday mornings and sunny days followed. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was calm and clear. There was a heavy frost. The barometer reading was 30in (falling). THE TIDES. — High water, Invercargill 4.19 a.m.. 4.07 p.m.; Bluff, 3.33 a.m.. 4.07 p.m.; Riverton. 2.38 a.m., 3.07 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 2.47 am.. 3.16 p.m. 1 THE SUN.— Rises 8.20 a.m.; seis 5.09 p.m.
