The southland farmers’ cooperative ASSOCIATION, GORE, has been favoured with instructions from Mr J. L. Keir, Charlton, to offer the following:— 25 Registered and Grade SHORTHORN COWS and HEIFERS. I—Purebred SHORTHORN BULL. (To be offered immediately after the usual sale). In this herd, which was founded many years ago, by the late John Keir, of Charlton, sires and dams have been introduced from some of the leading North Island and Canterbury studs. They are strong constitutioned dual purpose cattle, frequent Government tests proving them to be absolutely free from T.B. All are in calf to purebred sires and are timed to calve Sep-tember-October.
