BAN AGAINST COMMUNISTS.— The annual conference of the Labour Party on a card vote rejected by 1,899,000 to 132,000 votes a motion asking the executive to remove the ban on co-operation with members of the Communist Party but the conference adopted a resolution favouring the lifting of the ban on The Daily Worker, the London Communist daily newsnaner.
