TRIBUTE TO LATE MR H. F. DREWE
It is with great regret that I have to record the recent death of Mr H. F. Drew, the board's business agent, who, since his appointment to the position on July 1, 1935, has given faithful and conscientious service to the board and to importers throughout Southland,” said Mr W. J. A. McGregor, chairman of the Bluff Harbour Board, at the annual meeting yesterday. "Working as he did through the shipping committee of the Chamber of Commerce, he kept in close touch with the commercial community and problems of transhipment had his constant attention. He was highly respected throughout the district and his death is a distinct loss to the whole community.”
