SOCIAL SECURITY—The Social Security Commission has estimated that at March 31 last the number of superannuation beneficiaries would have increased to 40,855, at a cost of £485,926, said the Minister of Social Security, the Hon. W. E. Parry, at Auckland. In the year ended February 28 last there were 40,605 recipients at a cost of £465,926.
