(Special) WELLINGTON, May 27. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate easterly to north-easterly winds. The weather fair; temperatures cold. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was cold and overcast until well on in the afternoon, when the sun shone for a period. There was no wind.
