SOUTHLAND SOLDIERS
Advice has been received by Mrs A. McKenzie, Herbert street, Invercargill, that her son, Corporal C. F. McKenzie, is a prisoner of war in Germany. In a letter to his mother Corporal McKenzie stated that he was well and that he was being treated well. The camp was clean and comfortable, he said, and he received a Red Cross parcel every week. Advice has been received at Mataura that 2nd Lieutenant W. Ross, who was previously reported missing, believed to be a prisoner of war, has now been reported to be a prisoner. 1
