TOUGH AND HARD
(Rec. 5.30 p.m.) CAIRO, Feb. 28. A flattering estimate of his Allied opponents has been recorded by a German officer serving on the Libyan Front. He says the British, Australians and New Zealanders are tough, hard opponents as individual fighters. They are highly skilled in defence, unimaginative and inflexible in attack, coldblooded and skilled in fighting, experienced in assault and capable of standing up to all kinds of hardship.
