WELL-KNOWN EDITOR TO RESIGN
(Rec. 5.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28. Mr J. L. Garvin, editor of The Observer for 34 years has resigned, says The Manchestei- Guardian. It has been known for some time that Mr Garvin and Lord Astor have not seen recent political developments eye to eye.
