SELF GOVERNMENT FOR INDIA
DEMAND IN U.S. SENATE (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 27. The question of self-government for India has been vigorously taken up by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The Associated Press states that influential members cf the committee made a demand that Britain be asked to give an immediate pledge of postwar self government for India.
